Friday was a quiet day. Finished the rest of my costume, made sure everything was together. And then the night.. The night was spent at Iron Horse, an Edmonton club, for my coworkers 18th birthday ( finally, someone younger than I! ). It was a lot of fun aside from some drama that happened through the night.. but meh, :P I got to dance the night away. The coolest part of the nighr was the bacholorette party that was there.. and they brought a blow up doll and a giant, blow-up penis. Sadly, I got no pictures of them!!
Arrive at 10:00pm.. this s what we get by 10:30pm lmao.. mind you, we bought a lot of these for Nicole, since it was her birthday! I am not an alcoholic.. unlike Michelle. ;D

So I got home at about.. I dunno, around 2:30am ish. I had the hardest time falling asleep.. and I rested pretty uneasily till about 5:00am before I actually fell asleep. Woke up at 7:00am to get ready for Animethon.. and was still a little bit drunk, lmao. I didn't even have much to drink, and for some reason that itty bit of sleep I got MADE IT WORSE. ;__;
But yes, ANIMETHON.
Getting ready for Animethon, suiting up in my Sniper outfit while kind of drunk made me feel like I have a double life. Get dressed up at party it up all night.. sleep it off a bit, wake up and NERD IT UP, BABY. But yeah, Animethon was pretty awesome. I was amazed at how popular our costumes were. Daniel was the Scout, Nathan was the Engineer and the Spy, Alyassa was the Pyro and I was the Sniper. People were stopping us literally every minute for a picture. And once we got into our poses, people would come skittering by with more cameras.. haha, I felt like a celebrity. :P I didn't expect our costumes to be such a hit. Every year, I dress as a video game chaarcter, and only a fraction of people would recognize who I was. This year was just CRAAAZY.

After all the excitement of Saturday was done, we crashed at the hotel and were probably up until 3:00am or 4:00am ish. And then, yay, we were up at about 9:00am to get packed up in time for the check out thingy. And right after that.. we went to the water park all day. It was a lot of fun, but the weekend was such a whirlwind! It was one event after another. I'm a tired Shayla.
