Goddamnit Bethesda, Whhyy..?

Bethesda Softworks is like.. my mortal enemy/lover LOL. They're the folks behind some of my all time favourite games such as: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3. So obviously I have to love them because I love those games more than I love, umm.. hmmm. More than I love most things. :P More than I love candy? No, that's going too far. But anyways. If you knew me, you'd understand how many hours of my life both Morrowind and Oblivion have stolen from me. D:< It'd be the same for Fallout 3, but...

And this is why I hate Bethesda, at times. They make great games, but those fuckers rush them out.. every time. Without one hundred million patches, the games often run terribly. Even the console games are questionable. I had Morrowind for the old XBOX and that game was just GAH sometimes. Glitchy beyond belief...... but oh so wonderful when it was working.

Oblivion was probably the least of my problems. I heard about people all over the place having major issues with it, but I only had it crash to desktop once in awhile. When it did, it broke my heart, but it only did it a handful of times. I remember that Oblivion didn't auto save, or only did when I got to a location that required loading and I had been running around in the big, open fieldy area for hours, doing small quests and stuff.. and then it crashed.. and I lost it all. And I didn't play Oblivion again for months LOL. I got back into it.. fell out again.. and now I actually have no fucking clue what I did with my game disk. -wails-

Now for Fallout 3. SIGH. A friend from work gave me his copy because he didn't like it ( cause it was too glitchy, of course, lmao ). So I rejoiced in my saving of 59.99. The rejoicing didn't last very long, though. Fallout 3 is painfully buggy. So painful that I would prefer stubbing my toe over and over to the pain it brings me. xD Despite having downloaded about seven different patches that are available.. it STILL crashes to desktop. I started to play it again recently, and all was fine and dandy for a few days, and then BAM crash to desktop constantly again. Bah. It was a slow, but sure decline to sadnesssss. It worked great, never crashed, then it would crsah if I played for longer than an hour or so.. and now it crashes like, every ten minutes. I'm hoping it'll work today.

Speaking of those games.. I am such a cheater when I play. I always cheat to make my character really epic, and cheat to show all locations on the map.. lol. ^_^; But now I can really disagree with people who say you can't really enjoy a game when you cheat. HELL, I like the games more when I cheat, haha. I have never had the patience to level up. It started in the days of Morrowind when I was a level 1 and an angry monster the size of my foot which resembled a pine cone with teeth could kill me. I have no goddamn patience for that bull LOL. I love being able to really just go do whatever the heck I want. I know some people seem to like levelling up.. but fuck that noise. :P

This whole ranty rant started when I noticed Oblivion on Steam today. I'm so tempted to buy it because I can't find the installation disk.. but.. I should stop spending my money. But.. the game is so great.. but.. AHHH. :(
