Too Soon?

I have too much free time to think of things that only I'd probably find funny. But that's okay, blogging keeps my mind occupied and I currently can't find another movie to watch.

I dunno about you guys, but I seem to have this problem where I don't know if it's too soon to crack a joke.

Example:

A friend of mine likes to crack her knuckles a lot.

"Aw dude, you need to stop, that's gross. Stop. Stop, I hate it when you do that."

"Why? Come on."

"Stop it, I'm gonna Chris Brown your ass."

"Aw, Shay'.. no."

"What? What? Too soon?"

"Way too soon."

Example 2:

"Holy fuck, get your cat away from me."

"Dude, it's not gonna hurt you, it's just an animal."

"Tell that to Steve Irwin.."

"Aww dude.."

"Too soon?"

"Too soon. Waaay too soon."

"He died years ago.. okay, too soon."

Example 3:

"Did you see _____'s new girlfriend on his facebook?"

"Yeah.. she looks like she's 11."

"Yep, haha, he says she's very mature for her age."

"That's what R. Kelly said."

"Dude!!"

"What? R Kelly was ages ago!"

"It's always too soon, pedo jokes are never funny!"

"..... Wait, I have one!"

"No."

"What ty-"

"Shhh."

"But it's fu-"

"Shhh.."

"Can I crack jokes about Michael Jac-"

Only joking. But you know what I mean, right? There's this weird time frame where nobody will find certain jokes funny, or they'll be mildly offended. Unless you're me.. in which case the time frame starts at birth and ends in death and your jokes are never funny.
